Testimonials

HTML clipboard Thank you for a wonderful vacation. As a first generation American who speaks fluent Lithuanian and who was returning to the native land of my parents, I experienced such great joy to be in Lithuania. It is so beautiful and historic. I felt as though I had returned home. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and were ablo to answer all of our many questions. They spoke English fluently with my non-Lithuanian speaking husband and daughter and gave me a chance to speak Lithuanian with native speakers. Our driver was expert and so nice to us. The hotels were beautiful...We have some many beautiful memories.Thank you so much for a wonderful trip. I am telling everyone about your superb organization....

Sightseeing in Estonia

Tallinn Print E-mail

Tallinn

Tallinn (formerly Reval) is the capital and the political, economic and cultural centre of the country situated in the northernmost part of the Baltic countries. It is one of the best retained medieval European towns, with its web of winding cobblestone streets and properties, from the 11th to 15th centuries, preserved nearly in its entirety. On one hand, Tallinn gives a good feeling of modern quality of life and of respect for traditions on the other. Visit the Medieval Old Town, Town Hall Square, House of the Brotherhood of Black Heads, St. Nicholas’s Church or enjoy your day in Tallinn Zoo!

Things to see in Tallinn

Medieval Old Town
Tallinn’s Old Town attracts interest from the very first moment. Surrounded by huge city walls and numerous towers, the Old Town with its many
tallinn square narrow streets and staircases, gates and towers appears almost like a labyrinth.

Town Hall Square
The square in front of Tallinn’s Town Hall functioned as a marketplace for centuries, dating back to times even before the Town Hall itself was built. Through the years this served as a place of celebrations as well as executions.

Tallinn Town Hall is the best-preserved Medieval town hall in Northern Europe.

Great Guild Hall
The Great Guild was an organization uniting the city's wealthy merchants, and intended for protecting its members' common interests.

House of the Brotherhood of Black Heads is nearly the only preserved Renaissance building in Tallinn. The Brotherhood united the young, talllinn black headsingle merchants before they could be accepted into the Great Guild, as well as foreign merchants who were riding in Tallinn for longer periods but not permanently.

St. Olav’s Church was the tallest church in Medieval Europe. The earliest data on St. Olav’s Church come from 1267.

St. Nicholas’s Church has three of the four most important Medieval works of art in Estonia on display.

Church of the Holy Ghost is the only sacred building from the 14th century in Tallinn that has preserved its original form.

Tallinn City Museum’s exhibition covers the history of the city from the 13th century talllinn city museum

to the 1990’s.

Kiek in de Kök was the most powerful cannon tower in 16th-century Northern Europe.

Tallinn Zoo

The Tallinn Botanic Garden. The Tallinn Botanic Garden is located in the eastern outskirts of Tallinn, 10 km from the city ctre. The territorys

botan

split by the Pirita River and embraced by a large sandy pine forest area. Take a ten-minute drive from the city noise and discover the harmony of pure nature, landscape architecture, exotic plants, and local Estonian herbs.

Tartu Print E-mail

Tartu is Estonia’s second largest city and also the oldest one in the Baltic States – first mentioned in 1030. Tartu has always been the intellectual capital of Estonia. For the visitor, there are plenty of museums and galleries to visit, but the first destinations should probably be the cobbled streets of Old Town and the paths and bridges of Toome Hill - a good place to see the spectrum of reds and browns once autumn hits. Theatre performances, concerts, festivals, conferences happen all year round. Tartu is also home to more than 20 museums.
